30 Day – Hassel Free Return Terms:

Modern Portable’s 30 day hassle free return policy is for customers who purchased from Modern portable’s online merchant store fronts only (ModernPortable.com, Amazon.com, Ebay.com and other select store front channels. 

All customers must have a valid order ID number from ModernPortable.com, Amazon.com or Ebay.com in order to qualify for returns, refunds, replacements, exchange’s, or warranty.  

If your Modern Portable item was fulfilled by Amazon: Customer may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, except during the December holiday period. Items bought during the holiday period will have an extended return period; the holiday period starts on the 14th of November &  ends on the 31st of December. Items purchased during this period are eligible for a full refund if received by January, 15th 2016.

* Product Damages caused by customer with not be refunded even for orders within the 30-Day return or replacement period. *Returns for refund will be thoroughly inspected by Modern Portable technicalist special before refunds are issued to customers.

Items should be returned in their original product packaging (unless directed otherwise by Modern Portable). The buyer will need to pay for the return shipments; return shipping costs will be refunded if the return is a result of merchant or Amazon damage or defect.

All refunds go to the original purchaser. A full refund will be due provided the return is received within the return window.

* Customers returning a Modern Portable product must provide a valid order number for purchases made from Amazon.com, Ebay.com or ModernPortable.com.  Orders made from a third party seller and not a certified Modern Portable store front are not included in Modern Portable’s return policy, replacement / exchange policy, or warranty policy.  Customers who purchased from a third party seller are subject to the third party sellers terms, refunds, replacement and warranty policy.  Modern Portable personnel are strictly instructed to never issue refunds, replacements,  exchanges,  warranty and will not be able to service any Modern Portable products purchased from a third party seller. 

* Returns for refund will be thoroughly inspected by Modern Portable technical specialist before refunds are issued to customers.

Replacements or Exchanges of Amazon or ModernPortable.com Customers:

Replacements and exchanges for orders made on both Amazon.com or ModernPortable.com are supported if customer is still with-in the 30-Day return period.  Too receive a replacement (when still in 30-Day return period) instead of a refund please instruct the Modern Portable support team that you would like a replacement instead of the refund.  Replacement instructions will be provided by Modern Portable personnel. * Before replacements are issued, customers original unit will be thoroughly inspected by Modern Portable technical specialist before refunds are issued to customers.

Modern Portables Limited 90 day warranty:

Modern Portables 90 day limited product warranty extends only to the original Modern Portable purchaser or the person receiving a Modern Portable HIFI audio or power bank product as a gift from the original product purchaser, and does not extend to any other person. To qualify for the warranty, the consumer must provide proof of purchase in the form of the original order number and the original order number must be a verified Modern Portable order number. Individuals who hold the product as a gift are covered by the limited product warranty only if the gift was from the original product purchaser and an original order number can be produced. 

*Orders made from a third party seller and not a certified Modern Portable store front are not included in Modern Portable’s return policy, replacement / exchange policy, or warranty policy.  Customers who purchased from a third party seller are subject to the third party sellers terms, refunds, replacement and warranty policy.  Modern Portable personnel are strictly instructed to never issue refunds, replacements,  exchanges,  warranty and will not be able to service any Modern Portable products purchased from a third party seller. 

* *International Customer are not included in Modern Portables Warranty - All  Modern Portable product that are purchased from outside of the United States are not covered until Modern Portables 90 day limited warranty.

Who is not covered under Modern Portables Limited 90 day warranty - 

*Orders made from a third party seller and not a certified Modern Portable store front are not included in Modern Portable’s return policy, replacement / exchange policy, or warranty policy.  Customers who purchased from a third party seller are subject to the third party sellers terms, refunds, replacement and warranty policy.  Modern Portable personnel are strictly instructed to never issue refunds, replacements,  exchanges,  warranty and will not be able to service any Modern Portable products purchased from a third party seller

* Those who have either purchased or received a Modern Portable product that was sold as new or refurbished from an unauthorized retailer including but not limited to websites such as Ebay.com, actions sites or sales by surplus or bulk resellers are not covered by the limited product warranty. For more information regarding the limitations on our warranty, please refer to the section “What is not covered” down below.  

* *International Customer are not included in Modern Portables Warranty - All  Modern Portable product that are purchased from outside of the United States are not covered until Modern Portables 90 day limited warranty.

How Modern Portables Warranty Works: Modern Portable holds the sole and exclusive responsibility to either repair, service or replace the defective product during the 90-day limited warranty period. If at its sole option Modern Portable decides to replace a product, the replacement product will be a fully refurbished unit. If your product cannot be replaced with a product of the same model type, Modern Portable may give you a replacement product of similar or greater value. Modern Portable also reserves the right at its sole option to issue a refund on any defective product.

Modern Portables 90 day warranty is limited and does not apply to damages, defects, malfunction or failure to meet performance specifications resulting from:

*.      Normal wear and tear  
*.      Misuse of product, neglect, abuse, improper handling or accident
*.      Product service, testing, adjustment, installment, maintenance, and alteration including software changes or hardware changes made by someone other than Modern Portable
*     Non-compliance with instructions given by Modern Portable. including, but not limited to, improper use of an  electric source or other operator error
*.      Damage or loss during shipment or transit
*.      External causes such as floods, storms, fires, earthquakes, sunlight exposure, acts of God, weather, moisture, sand, dirt, electrical surges, battery leakage, vibration, corrosive environments or damage caused by the connection to other products
